The ceiling rose above us like a piece of jewelry — an elliptical dome wrapped in warm light, crowned by a medallion that looked hand‑carved by angels on overtime. It felt like the building itself was showing off.

Photo: Kathy selfie with the tiger in the background. A little comic relief — isn’t she beautiful? And yes, I mean the majestic tiger behind me… though the selfie wasn’t too bad either. The whole place left me absolutely enthralled.
